Baked with Love - by Namrata

Baked with love by :  Namrata

Namrata's thoughts:

I started Baked With Love, about a year ago for my love for baking. Over the year I served more that 350 customers and baked more than 2500 cupcakes! The business was picking up gradually and it made me so happy. But who knew, the world is going to come to a standstill, let alone my small home-run business. The lock down was so sudden I couldn't stock up on ingredients for my desserts and had to completely stop baking during the stay at home. It was heartbreaking- from not being able to bake regularly- something I love doing and am so passionate about to cancelling all my pre-bookings, and making losses after the business was just picking up.Thankfully things are returning back to normal slowly, I could access ingredients and just opened for orders again. I was really overwhelmed with the much unexpected positive response. I have been taking stringent measures to keep the food as hygienic as possible, like washing and sanitizing my hands a couple of times while baking, making  the entire process as contact free as possible, and sanitizing the delivery boxes. It's difficult yes, because everyone is a little reluctant in getting food from outside, but all we can do is keep hoping for everyone's health, well-being and happiness. Well, one thing I know for sure, cake makes you happy! :) "

What does the theme say about us? Let us give you a quick insight! A full packed, 9 day content, with 3 art forms, from the 4 of us! The brain behind this page, had nothing to do with art, but simply four students, pursuing MBA from IBS Hyderabad. Two years of grill, with a different flavour this time because of the pandemic, hasn't been much hard, because we were surrounded by art, everyday, and everywhere. The lockdown has taken a toll on our mental health and with all the talk shows, and articles a\on mental health, it is definitely not easy to tackle it overnight. It takes times, and happens with ease. We have seen so many individuals building something new with the beginning of a new day. From their paintings, to experimenting with flavours, we have seen it all. Online platform has not just become a ...

Art by - Srishti Bansal

Artist's Voice: "While my undergraduate degree is in Commerce, I have always identified myself as an artist. Subsequently, I have presented my work in several small venues. Most notably, I presented at Galerie Metanoia in Paris, and the Delhi Lalit Kala Academy. Art is an avenue for me to stay creative and connected which is why I try to paint the inside out. I embrace my zeal to unravel the marvelous connect that we all have with ourselves and the world. There is a continuous need to search deeper within myself, which has led me through a wonderful journey of self-expression and finding my reality beyond what society or circumstances impose. I do not paint what I see, but what I feel. Sometimes, I use my fingers to paint. It helps me connect better with my artwork. There is no specific method that I deploy to this apparent madness on canvas. I am led by the language of my paints, of my own pains, of the process of painting, and everything else in between. For me, it is not ...
